We seek to develop practical, environmentally sustainable initiatives for every project, and have a LEED accredited professional on staff. The firm's philosophy is built on service and personal involvement; delivering creative design solutions with integrity, insight and innovation.

The firm is under the leadership of Joel P. Van Dyke, AIA; Allen L. Freeman, AIA; and Steven L. Peckham, AIA. Our talented partners provide clients with personal service by directly leading all of our work. Their design sensitivity and effective communication are central to the success of each project we undertake. They work directly with our clients from start to completion to ensure that we fulfill the goals and vision of the owner.

Over our history, Freeman & Major Architects has honed our project delivery process into a time tested, proven way to assemble the team around common goals. One way we measure the success of our process is by the number of our repeat clients. As good stewards of both our clients' resources and the environment, Freeman & Major Architects seeks to incorporate practical sustainable strategies in every project, even if LEED certification is not pursued. This approach to green building leads to better building performance resulting in reduced maintenance and operatiing costs. Freeman & Major Architects is a member of the US Green Building Council (USGBC) and actively researches environmentally sound methods and materials. Douglas K.
