This project is on track to achieve a LEED Silver certification. The facility, located on the main campus of Greenville Technical College, will house the college’s IT, Logistics (Shipping and Receiving), and Planning & Grants departments. The building’s design focuses on water and energy conservation and a healthy work environment. Eastern and western glazing is shaded by overhangs and vegetation. Ribbon and clerestory windows bring natural light into all regularly occupied spaces in the building and reduce the need for artificial lighting in the daytime. A cistern will store rainwater for use on the landscaping around campus.
